BTS (방탄소년단) Trans: Bangtan Sonyeondan, also known as Bulletproof Boy Scouts or Bangtan Boys is a South Korean hip-hop boy group formed under BigHit Entertainment.  It consists of 7 members: Rapmonster, Jin, J-Hope, V, Jungkook, Suga and Jimin. They debuted on June 13, 2013 with their lead single “No More Dream” in their album ‘2 Cool 4 Skool’. The name of their fandom is A.R.M.Y. It stands for Adorable Representative M.C for Youth.
Below are the informations about each member:

Rap Monster (랩몬스터) 

He is the main rapper and the leader of BTS. His real name is Kim Nam Joon (김남준).  He was born on September 12, 1994 in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-d, South Korea. He has a younger sister. His height is 5’11”. Rap Monster studied in New Zealand and lived there for 6 months. He also studied at Apgujeong High School and Global Cyber University.
He was fluent in English, and what’s amazing is that he taught himself. He has a rough and tough image but despite of it he is very playful and relaxed.  He was the only member left from the original line up back then on 2010 because of the constant member change up. He has composed over 100+ songs. Rap Monster’s role models are Kanye West and A$AP Rocky.His hobby is surfing the web. He currently shares a room with V. Rap Monster’s ideal type is someone sexy, even to a brain. Someone that is thoughtful and confident.

Jin (진)

He is the Vocalist and Visual. His real name is Kim Seok Jin (김석진). He was born on December 4, 1992 in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He has an older brother. His height is 5’10” and a half. Jin studied at Konkuk University, Major in Film.
He is the oldest member.  His role model is T.O.P. from BIGBANG. Jin is in charge of cleaning up the dorm. He is a very good cook. He enjoys looking at photos and recipes. One funny thing he does when he is hungry is that he blinks his left eye. According to the other members, Jin has the best body in Bangtan.His hobbies are cooking, playing videogames on Nintendo and taking selcas. He currently shares a room with Suga. Jin’s ideal type is a girl whose looks and personality is similar to that of a puppy, which is good at cooking, kind and takes good care of him.

Suga (슈가)

He is the lead rapper. His real name is Min Yoon Gi (민윤기).  He was born on March 9, 1993 in Buk-gu, Daegu, South Korea. He has an older brother. His height is 5’8.5”. He studied at Global Cyber University.

Suga speaks with a satoori accent when he’s nervous and when he cries. He is called Motionless Min because on his days off he doesn’t do anything. He loves taking photos. He likes to make rhymes for everyday situations. Before debut he says he had legs as nice as any member of Girls’ Generation. His role models are Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Lil Wayne and Hit Boy.

His hobbies are doing nothing when he has free time, taking photos and avoiding having to do work. He currently shares a room with Jin. Suga’s ideal type is a girl who likes music, especially hip-hop.

J-Hope (제이홉)

He is the lead rapper, main dancer and vocalist. His real name is Jung Ho Seok (정호석). He was born on February 18, 1994 in Gwangju, South Korea.  He has an older sister. His height is 5’10”. He studied at Gwangju Global High School and Global Cyber University.
He chose his stage name “J-Hope” because he wants to be the source of light and hope to his fans. He initially auditioned for JYP Entertainment with B.A.P’s Youngjae. He was also the rapper in 2AM’s JoKwon’s “Animal”. He is the cleanest member of BTS and also the best dancer. His role models are G-Dragon of BIGBANG, A$AP Rocky, J.Cole and Beenzino.
His hobbies are listening to music and window shopping. He currently shares a room with Jimin. J-Hope’s ideal type is a girl who loves him, someone who is good at cooking and thinks a lot.

Jimin (지민)

He is the lead vocalist and main dancer. His real name is Park Ji Min (박지민). He was born on October 13, 1995 in Busan, South Korea. He has a younger brother. His height is 5’8.3”. He studied at Busan High School of Arts and Global Cyber University.
He was the last member to join BTS.  He used to view himself as fat and used to be self conscious of his looks and cheeks. He is also known for his impressive abs. If music is playing he will start to groove with it no matter where he is. He jokingly hits his fellow members as a way of showing his affection for them. His role model is Taeyang of BIGBANG.His hobby is relaxing whenever he gets a chance. He currently shares a room with J-Hope. Jimin’s ideal type is someone nice and a cute girl who is smaller than him.

V (뷔)

He is a vocalist and also a visual. His real name is Kim Tae Hyung (김태형). He was born on December 30, 1995 in Daegu, South Korea but later moved to Geochang where he lived until he moved to Seoul. He has a younger sister and a younger brother. His height is 5’10”. He studied at Korea Art School and Global Cyber University.

It is said when his teaser image was released 5 personal fan clubs were created. He has been in the group but fans didn’t know about him until they debut. He likes anything that is unique. He has a habit where he bites his nails. They call him Blank Tae because of his blank expression. They also say that he is a horrible cook. His role model is his dad.

His hobbies are searching for music that no one listens to and going on the computer. He currently shares a room with Rap Monster. V’s ideal type is someone who takes care of him and loves only him.  Somone who has a lot of aegyo.

Jungkook (정국)

He is the main vocalist, lead dancer, sub rapper, center and the maknae or the youngest in BTS. His real name is Jeon Jeong-guk (전정국). He was born on September 1, 1997 in Busan, South Korea. He has an older brother. His height is 5’10”. He studied at Seoul School of Performing Arts.

He has a weird habit where he sniffles a lot because of his rhinitis. He is a very skilled cook. He likes shoes. His role model is G-Dragon of BIGBANG.

His hobby is drawing. He currently has a room for himself. His ideal type is someone who is at least 168 cm. Someone good at cooking, smart and nice. A girl who likes him and someone who is good at singing.

BTS had released their new album ‘Love Yourself: Her’ with their lead single DNA. It is about the expression of a young and passionate love. BTS’ new album is something that will make everyone moves to its music.
